Empowering rural communities with value-based quality education for over a century.
Shri Baldev Ji Vaidya, a freedom fighter and visionary social worker, established the 'English School' in Baragaon in 1939. The school became a High School in 1945 and later expanded into Arts, Commerce, and Science streams. After his demise in 1958, Dr. Shivmohan Lal Agarwal continued his mission, establishing Shri Baldev Degree College in 1965, later affiliating with Shri Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur.
Pt. Baldev Ji Vaidya was a pioneer in bringing education to rural areas. The core objective behind all institutions he established is to offer value-based, quality traditional higher education to underprivileged communities, especially focusing on girl students.
The college offers B.A., B.Sc., M.A., M.Sc., and certificate courses in employment-oriented education and journalism to equip students with academic and job-ready skills.
Currently, the Vedic Siksha Parishad is led by renowned social worker and eminent ophthalmologist Dr. S.D. Agarwal. Under his visionary leadership, all institutions continue to flourish and inspire future generations.
